S76 Handbook Random Limitation Considerations

There are occasional non-calcuation type basic questions in the CASA APLH exam regarding performance limitation information from the front of the S76 Handbook.

This type of question has been mostly (but not entirely) excluded from the CASA APLH exam simply because Page 7 of the S76 Handbook advised the information is made up of data from 'several S76 variants'.

At times this can cause a contradiction between some initial written information and the data on the graphs, however if you are specifically asked for a power/torque setting, N1 limit, temperature limit, transmission limit or any other basic limitation then just use the data found in the front of the S76 Handbook.

This type of question has not been included in our APLH CyberExams so we can focus on the more difficult calculations instead.

However to be fully prepared in case you come across some of these questions, you should find time to read through the information in the S76 Handbook from Page 8 to Page 12 inclusive. There is no need to memorize any of that data.

Don't overthink that type of question and don't try to answer them using data on the graphs unless specifically directed to a graph.
